UniChristmas@Harbour City: The Sparkling “Unicorn Merry-Go-Round Paradise” at Ocean Terminal Forecourt
ANNUAL Christmas lighting display of Harbour City, the large-scaled shopping mall in Hong Kong, is a must-visit festive attraction for Hong Kong that creating lots of lovely memories to local and overseas visitors.
The Christmas decorations and activities of Harbour City this year has resumed to the scale as large as before. Harbour City turns the Ocean Terminal Forecourt into “Unicorn Merry-Go-Round Paradise” under the theme of “UniChristmas” from now till 2 Jan 2023, we also hosted Christmas lighting ceremony and live-streamed on social media allowing friends from Hong Kong and abroad to enjoy the festive atmosphere of Christmas!
In terms of shopping rewards, Harbour City will continue its mall coupon redemption program during Christmastime and partner with merchants to offer customers 50,000 instant Christmas gifts.
This Christmas, Harbour City invites 4 unicorns with unique characteristics (Dreamy Bubble, representing dreams; Harmony Ocean, representing harmony; Jolly Trinity, representing happiness; and Twinkle Skylar, representing treasures) and their friends to Harbour City from the land of fairytales. They join the party at this paradise with friends together and send their representing Christmas blessings to everyone.
The unicorn Jolly Trinity greets visitors at the front entrance of the park as you enter the fairyland from the 10-meter-tall iridescent Christmas tree. You will find a total of 18 unicorns wandering between 6 sets of specially designed “Unicorn Merry-Go-Round” and over 40 iridescent and glittering Christmas trees in different sizes.
You can also access the Charity Photography Zone by donation to enjoy the Christmas lights with your beloved one from the best angle. The biggest installation in this paradise Unicorn Merry-Go-Round Palace is located at Ocean Terminal Main Entrance Staircase.
The palace consists of more than 10 Christmas trees hanging in the air and placed on both sides of the ladder of dreams with hundreds of sparkling stars under the ceiling. Everyone can indulge in the shimmering fantasy fairyland together with the unicorns.
Harbour City also opens a UniChristmas Pop-up Store for charity sale of various unicorn themed premiums including card pack, Mystery Boxes of fragrance ornament, poncho towel, and plush toy, etc. Moreover, Harbour City joins hands with Appolo ice-cream to launch exclusive unicorn themed Fruit Yogurt, available at its shop at Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier only.

The unicorn Jolly Trinity is the first one to show up and greet you at “Unicorn Merry-Go-Round Paradise”. The 10-meter-tall iridescent Christmas tree at the front entrance is made with double layers of “Unicorn Merry-Go-Round” surrounding the tree and composed of countless glittering pieces.
You will find a total of 18 unicorns wandering between 6 sets of specially designed “Unicorn Merry-Go-Round” and over 40 iridescent and glittering Christmas trees in different sizes. They can be found everywhere in the paradise, sometimes in the sky, sometimes on the ground.
There are two sets of giant LED Unicorn Merry-Go-Round with multiple unicorns surrounding the LED pillar which displays the fairyland they came from. A 5-meter-tall die-cut 3D unicorn stands on top of the Merry-Go-Round at the paradise center, drawing everyone’s attention.
Pass through the die-cut 3D unicorn and you will reach the Unicorn Christmas Tree Garden. Surrounded by iridescent Christmas trees, there are different unicorn-shaped installations so you can get up close to the wings, chair and donut for photo taking.
The Ocean Terminal Main Entrance Staircase becomes the biggest Unicorn Merry-Go-Round Palace in this paradise. 2 giant wings spread out on both sides of the palace and reflect the luminous flashes from the Christmas trees, making the wings come to life as they shimmer.
More than 10 Christmas trees hang in the air and sit beside the ladder of dreams. Hundreds of lightbulbs in the ceiling transform this palace into a magnificent sky full of sparkling stars. 4 unicorns including Dreamy Bubble, Harmony Ocean, Jolly Trinity, and Twinkle Skylar await at the palace for your visit.
Harbour City collaborates with online booking platform Klook to launch pre-registration for the Charity Photography Zone. You can access the zone by donation of HK$40 to Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation to enjoy the Christmas lights and take photos with your loved one at the best angle. Proceeds from Charity Photography Zone go to Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation.

Harbour City opens “UniChristmas Pop-up Store” at the same time to hold charity sale for a series of unicorn-themed premiums. Proceeds go to Hong Kong Blood Cancer Foundation.
Upon donation of designated amount, you can receive Unicorn Card Pack of different characteristics (includes one Foil Card and one Ordinary Card) or Unicorn Mystery Box (includes one Fragrance Ornament). There is an AR effect on each Unicorn card so that you can see the unicorn appear in real life environment through your phone.
In addition, after collecting the designated number or all unicorn cards, children can redeem other unicorn themed premiums for free or by donation, including Unicorn Illuminated Plush Toy, Unicorn Poncho Towel, Harbour City X Appolo UniChristmas Fruit Yogurt, and Multi-coloured Fibre Optic Wand.
