Whiskers & Friends Afternoon Tea Set unveiled at Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel

HONG KONG Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel is excited to announces the launch of its exclusive “Whiskers & Friends” Afternoon Tea Set.  Featuring beloved characters Ocean Park Hong Kong – Whiskers, Bao Bao, Redd, Dougie, Fluffi, Mark and Justin – alongside the hotel mascot Owen, this afternoon tea set offers a unique and joyful dining experience for guests.

The characters from Ocean Park Hong Kong embody lessons in environmental stewardship.  Hailing from Happy Island, Whiskers and his friends embark on an adventurous journey aboard a mysterious ship crafted by Redd.

Each character brings their own distinct personality to the story, filled with curiosity, challenges, and friendship.

At the Pier Lounge, the Whiskers & Friends Afternoon Tea Set features these characters transformed into intricately designed desserts.

Each character is meticulously crafted into 3D molds with layers of colored chocolate, creating exquisite chocolate shells filled with rich flavors such as black sesame, red bean mousse, and green tea.

Guests can enjoy treats like Whiskers’ black sesame and red bean mousse cake, Bao Bao’s double-layered black and white chocolate cake, and Dougie’s mango passion fruit cake.

Adding to the fun, the hotel’s mascot Owen makes a special appearance on the signature scones. These scones are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with Clotted Cream, Rose Petal Strawberry Jam, and Jasmine & Yuzu Marmalade.

The afternoon tea also includes a selection of the hotel’s signature savory items. Highlights include: Smoked Dill Salmon with Horseradish Cream Mini Bun – a rich and flavorful combination.  

Pan-fried Corned Beef with Hash Brown and Black Truffle – a fragrant, savory delight.  Parma Ham with Herb Cream Cheese Sandwich Rolls - fresh and refreshing. Lobster and Wild Mushroom Vol-au-Vent – a luxurious taste experience.
